Despite all of the doom and gloom media coverage about the subject, I believe we can make a difference. And the way we do this has to start with the little changes we can all make in our own daily lives.
Sure the actual direct reduction in greenhouse gas emissions that you can make personally is small. But the real change will happen as more and more people catch on. As people you know - friends and family - realise that 'hey, if they can do it so can I'.
The point where that starts to happen isn't here quite yet - but we can all help to build and maintain the momentum
that gets people to take action. The media is fickle and people have short memories so it's very easy for even the most devastating and shocking of stories to eventually generate only complacency in people's minds.
That's how the media works. They hype up an issue and milk it for all it's worth and then drop it for the next big story. Global warming can't be treated like that. It seriously needs your attention and your action.

the earth has heated up and cooled down for billions of years, take, for example the ice age. Now the earth is just going through a heating up stage and it is barely our fault. Only about 5% or less is actually caused by humans. Everybody is too hyped up about one of earth's natural phases, and we shouldn't interfere.
Today take a train or bus instead of using your car. Use roll ons not deodrant. Don't waste something which can be kept!
Whats the point? because of global warming! The world is changing to something bad so stop !!! Let's have a cleaner world
